On Tuesday 29th April 2008, four schools taking part in the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership - JAMES ALLEN’S GIRLS’ SCHOOL, ALLEYN’S, ST SAVIOUR’S & ST OLAVE’S and ST MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS – met at JAGS for an exciting event involving six pupils in Years 7 & 8 from each school, all accompanied by members of the staff of the schools.
The aim was to take the “Pupil voice” project a step further and ask the pupils to voice their views and share them with pupils of other schools.
Prior to the meeting, 6 pupils were selected in each school to take part. These pupils held a session within their forms to discuss what in their view made a good lesson from the perspective of the teacher and the pupils and they filled in a questionnaire.
