What have been the most important features in the success of the SSLP? - The employment of an External Coordinator
- Establishing a Senior LINK teacher in each school who is a reliable and relentless conduit for publicity and information and makes SSLP useful within their school
The trio structure (with flexibility to use pairs or larger groups)- Classroom Observation project, which helped build professional trust and provided a launch pad for the collaboration that has since followed
- Visible collaboration through joint activities and events involving pupils and teachers, such as: conferences, regular meetings and the Southwark Cathedral Concert
- Enhanced CPD opportunities
- Pupil engagement which stretches all involved
- Using invitational and voluntary engagement
